Crash and Burn!!

As I get home from colorguard practice and I start working on my homework, my mom tells me that they think Jay has an Appendicitis, so they are going to the doctor. Not knowing exactly the extremes of this I kept on doing my homework while checking on the other 5 kids every couple of minutes. Then one of my AMAZING friends, Kanda, asks if she can come over to my house so that I can help her with her dot book (a book of charts we use when we are first learning our spots for marching band/colorguard). So I called my mom and she said that would be fine. So slowly it starts getting later it is about 6:30 now and I call my mom, asking what is going on. She says that Jay is going in for X-Rays, in about an hour, so I said I would make dinner, and she said that I could make chicken enchiladas, because that was my dinner choice of the week (Each kid in our family makes dinner one night, picks the meal and helps mom/makes it them self). So as I was going between doing my homework and making dinner and watching the kids I think Kanda was keeping me sane (even if she didn't know it). So then Kanda and I got our hands dirty and plunged them into the stuffing and had fun making the chicken enchiladas.

So dinner turned out really well, and I am really happy about that. As I got calls through the night from my mom, I updated everyone on Jay. Jay definitely had an Appendicitis. So that night he would have surgery, and who knows when my parents would come home from staying with Jay. Kanda left at 9ish, and we hugged, saying how we would see each other later! I had put the first 2 kids in bed an hour ago, but the 3 older kids got to stay up. My mom called at about 10:30 to say that she was coming home. As I started to put the last 2 in bed, my mom came home. That is when it happened, my absolute complete melt down. My body and emotions were exhausted. I just start sobbing, because I can't handle it any more, the stress of taking care of kids, have a brother sick, no parents to help, trying to make a nice dinner, and getting back from a hard day of colorguard. I know I shouldn't complain, but I was purely exhausted. That is when I knew my bed was definitely calling my name *Kim* *Kim* *Kim*, as my mom hugged and kissed me and told me to go to bed, because I needed to rest. That was the lowest I think of lows for my strength. But it is a wonder what a night of sleep can do.

Snow ball fight?!?!? In summer?!?!

Let me set the background of this event before I tell what happened. It was about 1:00pm on Tuesday. I was at a river spot for lifeguarding. This spot is located across from leisure lagoon and behind me is a fence which on the other side is the break room and the back of some of the food joints.

So as I was sitting, I hear a loud shout saying...

" SNOW BALL FIGHT "

That is when it hit me from above. A cold ball of unflavored snow cone now dripping down my shoulder. Well, the food people sure thought it was funny because I could hear many giggles from behind the fence. As for me luckily it was a hot day, and the shock of it sent a little too much adrenalin going through my system. So if any one says there can never be a snow ball fight in summer, send them my way, and I will set them straight!

Princess for a Day!

SO today as we were comming home from church Jay (my little brother) says, "Kim, you look like Cinderella!" I thought that was really sweet, but then he says, "No seriously, you look like Cinderella!" Then Justin (another one of my little brothers) says, "Yea Kim, you look like a princess, all your missing is a crown... and a prince!" I thought it was so sweet and it was a deffinate high light to my day today!

Whipped Topping

So I wanted to have some friends over last night. And Jeff had a great Idea to make a couple pies. So we called everyone up and went to pick up Amy. First off Amy was high on sleeping pills and could barely stand, which made it very interesting her wanting to go with us really badly. So we walked her to the car. and then we went shopping at Pauls. Amy sat in the kiddie seat and we went around getting the ingrediants for a banana and creme pie and chocolate pie. As we got home after the interesting shopping trip. We started right away! We then went out on the trampoline for a while till the pies cooled down then we came in. As we finished putting shredds of chocolate on the top we started doing to thing where you smack the others back side with your foot, and you kind of fling it up. Well Lavell did it to me, so I "tried" to do it back. Well lets just say he had a plot, he grabbed my foot and I was a one legged prisoner. So as he walked around making me go with him, I decided to fight back, by getting my spatualla with whipped topping on it and put it on his nose. Then he decided to put his hand in, and shoved it on my face. Lets just say we got a little crazy. But then Rachel helps hold Lavells arms down when Amy wabbles over and has the lid to the whipped topping and covers his face. It was so much fun. And as soon as I get copies of pictures from my friends I will so be putting them on this blog. Well have an amazing life and keep it filled with "sweet" moments like whipped topping!!

You missed it...

Lavell, a really cool guy friend of mine, and I were laying out on my trampoline after seeing Hairspray (Oh man, I just lauph thinking of the movie)!! Well, we were looking at the stars ... waiting to try and see a shooting star....waiting...waiting.....waiting....well of course we talked while we were waiting, LOL!! Well, then Lavell stands up to get ready to leave when a shooting star flies right over his head. I burst out lauphing/screaming that there was just a shooting star!! He was upset so layed down and stayed a little longer. He asked if I had made a wish... what kind of question is that... well, a good one!! I have been wishing for the exact same thing for all, I mean all my wishes for the last year. I guess I really want it to happen. So now, if you ever go looking for shooting stars... good luck... exspecially if you look down at just the wrong time!!

JAZZY!!

I absolutely Love Jazz music it just gets me up and moving to a brand new beat! SO when I didn't make it into Premiur Jazz I was really upset... but then I knew that I needed to find someway to still have the music in my life. So I went for the spot as a Techi.
Mr.VP took a long time deciding but I got a letter in the mail just a couple days ago, and I am one of the techi's!!! YES YES YES YES YES!! I am so EXCITED!!

WATCH OUT!!

I was at the bottom of Racing Ridge (the giant yellow slide that you ride down on blue mats). I had my back towards the starting area because I was carring a mat to the bin. I saw three people up at the top and thought that since I was walking in the water, they were going to go on a different lane. As I was walking , sorry to say,two very large woman come zooming down beside me. That is when I heard...

WATCH OUT!!
I swiftly turn around, but it was too late. Another Large woman comes bareling right behind me!! Her head goes between my legs, I land on her and we both go down the rest of the slide. I am FREAKING OUT! Everyone, I mean everyone is laughing histarically, and the head guard that was at the top of the ride was lauphing none stop for 10 min. straight, not able to get out a single word!! One man was really upset because he was about to turn on his camera, but decided not to, and he could have got rich from Funniest Home Videos. I jump off the lady, and ask her are you ok, are you ok?? She asks back, are you ok?!?! I then said I was fine, but what mattered was if she was OK????!!!??!??!?! She replied with... I bench double your size, I am fine! Everyone is lauphing and I am shaking from how much adrenalin is pumping through my system. Luckily I only left with a sprained wrist and a good story to tell others!!
