Valentines Day Surprise!!

8:30am Valentines Day...Amanda walks in and says "Kim there are a couple people at the door for you. (Yes I am in my pink polka dot pjs and my hair and glasses are crazy looking!)
I go to the front door where there is these two people that I have no clue who they are with a heart shaped box of chocolates and a cute little bear. They told me I am suppose to push the foot of the bear and it started singing "I can't get enough of you baby, yes its true!" while the rose in its hand spun so fast that it would flash messages of I love you and hearts! As the song came to an end the two unknown people told me to lift up the box. I look over and there is this huge red wrapped box that comes up easily to about half a foot above my belly button. As I started to lift it I recognized my Travis's shoes. Shocked at him being here to see me, I drop the box back on him (oopps)! As he was uncovered he had a rose and a card in his hand! Kisses, hugs, and songs of love and adoration were exchanged between us! The perfect weekend...My love of my life and me watching movies, playing chutes and ladders, going to church, eating Thia food, and just being with eachother! Valentines Day is not as stupid as I use to think it was...

This week in a nutshell

I came home this last weekend and it was amazing cause I realized my love for snowmobiling!! But I know Travis warned me not to, but I loved sliding on the ice...as a result...(See picture)!

Thought for today, be careful to not get bored in class! Side effects may include drowsiness, incredible hunger and a skin discoloration of silver!

My View

My view everyday is of a beautiful temple. I get to see it also when it is dark outside when I am going to class on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday! I love have that beautiful house of God so close and within view at every building!

Roommates!

Oh man I love my roommates so much. Our personalities match so well. I think they are really sweet, and I am glad they do not have a bubble so when we sit to talk we are a big mass of bodies on the couch:) I think it is so wonderful that everything has worked out, and that this was inspired to have us room together. But I am missing my family a ton...and I do love webcaming them which I did for the first time today (Not to easy to do if you have all your younger brothers and sisters shouting questions all at the same time)! I am missing Travis and seeing him. I talk onto the phone...don't worry dad it is after nine or it is on the weekend...but I just love being in his presence! I miss EVERYONE...yes Celeste you are included!! I miss you guys and will keep this updated a lot better!!

My life as a college student

Moving day was yesturday, and my whole life is right there in that one picture (disincluding the people that make my life interesting and wonderful)! Oh, and if you notice what is in the background of this picture...my parents are turning my bedroom into a weight room! They started moving in things before I was even gone, but I guess it will help with the process of me not living at home anymore. I love my family so much and I will miss them even more!

YMCA Christmas Run

Travis and I ran 2.5 miles, for the YMCA Christmas Run. It is was snowy and very cold, but both of us were good sports. Travis being in shape was able to go alot faster than me, but although my many times I told him to go ahead, he still continued to stay by me the whole way!! I think it was really sweet of him to do that, even though I told him not to!

...Its off to school I go

I have been working like crazy it seems, and it is getting hard to have a calm life it seems. I am leaving to school in less than 2 weeks, and it is kind of freaking me out a little. My roomates seem AMAZING!! I have already chatted with them, and it basically rocks that they are happy outgoing people like me. Yesturday I did a Christmas Run with Travis...not to bad besides the freazing cold, ice covered streets, and me having a really bad cold :) But I servived and we were able to complete the 2.5 miles in 24 min! I have a picture of us on my parents camera, so I will post it as soon as I can get my hands on their memorie card!!
